By Robotic Systems
MineTAG is a low-cost, easy-install, all-in-one mining-grade computer — edge processing, LTE, GPS, Wi-Fi, CAN, serial and analog I/O in a single sealed, pole-mountable unit.
One integrated unit replaces a whole cabinet of parts — enclosure, computer, modem, GPS, UPS, I/O modules and antennas. Ordered to your spec, tested and potted in the factory.
A single 18-pin connector and one clamp mount. Bolt it to a pole, plug in vehicle power, and it boots itself. No cabinet, no cooling, no wiring loom design required.
Quad-core Linux computer, 4G LTE, multi-constellation GNSS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, CAN, RS485/RS422, six protected analog inputs and a built-in UPS — completely sealed with passive cooling.
Why MineTAG
Ruggedised, factory-potted hardware for mining, automotive and outdoor deployments — engineered and assembled by Robotic Systems in Australia.
9–36V input with reverse-polarity, overvoltage and transient protection, EMI filtering and under-voltage lockout. Wire it straight into machine power.
Supercapacitor UPS detects power loss and gives up to 20 seconds to shut down safely. Ideal for machines with switched or unreliable power.
IP66K high-pressure washdown rated, fully potted at the factory, no fans or vents. Operates from −20°C to 60°C ambient.
Raspberry Pi CM5 with a 2.4GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A76, up to 16GB RAM and 64GB eMMC. Runs standard Linux — your stack, your containers, your models.
Applications
Deploy the same low-cost hardware across your whole fleet and light it up with different software.
Track location, hours, and utilisation of every machine and light vehicle on site in real time over LTE.
Run vision and machine-learning models at the edge — add M.2 AI accelerator cards for heavier workloads.
Monitor operator behaviour, proximity and machine state to keep people out of harm's way.
Interface with machine CAN and sensors to give operators live guidance and alerts.
Watch analog and CAN signals for early warning signs and phone home before failures become downtime.
High-resolution logging of analog, serial and CAN data with GPS timestamping for field trials.

Customisation & Expansion
Installation
Stainless-steel mount kits cover almost any machine. Power it from 9–36V vehicle supply through one connector and you're done.
Standard M6 bolt pattern with rubber shoulder washers — bolt directly to any flat surface or your own bracket.
Stainless clamp kit for 20–90mm horizontal or vertical poles. Built for high-vibration mobile equipment.
Threaded-band clamp for poles up to 300mm diameter — larger sizes on request.
Stainless adaptor plate for 3S–6S STAUFF clamps, horizontal or vertical orientation.
Development Kit
The MineTAG Dev Kit (MT-DEV) puts the full system on your bench with everything broken out — so your software is ready before your hardware ships.
